Community had a meeting with
the home demonstration agent,
'Mrs. Mabel Wright Henry. Af¬
ter the regular opening services
the following officers wet's
elected for 1943-44: President,
Joel Dinkins; first vice presi¬
dent, Catherine Anderson; 2nd
vice president, Henry Baker;
secretary, Lena Mae Mangle;
treasurer, Charles McMillan;
reporter, Annie Lucile Tarver.
The St, James Baptist mem¬
bers and choir of Ladowici ren ¬
dered a program Monday even¬
ing Nov. 22 at Bethel AME
church. The pastor, Rev. T. J.
Lynch delivered a fine sermon
to a large congregation. The
collection was Bethel $29.25-
S26.25; Ludowici $27.00. $13:00
was donated Mrs. Amanda Tay-
lor for distress purposes. A
banquet was given immediate-
ly after the services at Hines-
vilie school by Rev. Scott Din-
kins and members of Bethel
Church. Barbecue, chicken,
salad, cake, drinks and coffee
were served.
The Hinesville Jr. High school
presented their Thanksgiving
program Wednesday evening,
