W Sunday was pastoral day at
First AB church. The Sunday
School was held at the usual
hour. At 12 o’clock the pas-
tor, Rev. J. P. Murphey deliv-
ered the morning message. He
again delivered another splen¬
did sermon at 8:30. Many
were present throughout the
day.
A Christmas tree was given
at Bethel AME church Thurs-
day night in honor of the mem-
bers of Bethel AME Sunday
School.
Sam Mitchell was the guest of
his daughter, Mrs. Annie Lou
McBride Friday while being in
Statesboro on business,.
The senior class of Statesboro
High and Industrial School
held their annual Christmas
party Tuesday night.
