CHANEY— In memory of
MR. JOHN W. CHANEY, SR„
who departed this life June 0,
1941.
The greatest trial we can know
Is loving someone dear;
It’s God's most rigid test
An earthly heart to sear.
So there’s some poor solace
In knowing you've been spared!
By knowing, first, the anguish
We who are left have shared

Needless to say, today, we are
not depressed.
Deep down in our hearts your
passing is refreshed;
We know the Master's will must
toe done,
So thanks be to God. your race
is won.
We remember, oh, so fondly, the
years when you were here
And the days moved on so quick
ly for you were always near,
Now it’s so different and time
so strongly binds us to the
past
And measures out the lonely
hours until we meet at last, i
A thousand years may pass, but
torget you. ve never will.
We cannot te’i you how we miss
you but we love you stall.
We like a flock without a shep¬

But we sough: and learned of

never stray.
