Orange Tid-Bits
By BETTY BARCLAY
Have you noticed the abundant
supply of small oranges on the
market recently? Mother Nature
has produced millions of these
small oranges this season, and
comparatively few of the larger
sizes.
Rut these small oranges are
mighty good! Thin-skinned!
Sweet! Used plentifully, they spare
precious rationed sugar. Fine
flavor! Bursting with Juice! Just
as rich in vitamins C, A and B
and in calcium and othe.r mineral
food elements. All you need do to
get your morning supply of vita¬
min C-rich juice is to use more
orangps, until your glass is filled.
And when packing the lunch boxes,
use two or three oranges instead
of one.
Accustom yourselves to using
more oranges this season — so you
wi!l be sure of your daily supply
of the very important vitamin C,
It’s a smart idea to buy by the
bagful in 2 or 3 dozen lota.
