A major affair of the social
season was the banquet given
on Wednesday evening, Febru¬
ary 6, at the beautiful home
of Mrs. Maude Simmons, 1805
Ogeechec road, by the Royai
Family Social Club, celebrating
their second anniversary.
This unique club was orga¬
nized two years ago and con¬
sists ol the daughters and sons,
daughters-in-law, sons-tn-law
and grand children ol Madam
Emma Moffiett, a prominent
resident of this city. This ciub
has made great progress in fi¬
nance and has contributed
freely to charitable organiza¬
tions. The anniversary was a
gala and elaborate affair and
well attended.
