broadcast of the Carbon Copies,
Savannahs favorite vocal quar¬
tet, direct from the showrooms

Mrs. Eiiza A. Jordan of 818 Wa¬
ters avenue, this city, has been
appointed a teacher in the De¬
partment of Zoology during the
summer school of 1947 at How¬
ard university.
Mr. Jordan finished Beach
high school in June of 1942, as
salutatorium of his class, ke en¬
tered the college of liberal arts
at 'Howard university in Sep¬
tember, 1942; then he entered
the Howard Medical School,
during his senior year in col¬
lege, in December, 1944. While
in the medical school, he com¬
pleted his college work in Aug¬
ust, 1946, however, he received
his B S cum laude in physics
on June 6, 1947. Mr Jordan
will resume his medical train¬
ing in October, at which time
he will be a senior student.
