Bears-Stars Split A
Double Header
On last Sunday afternoon
before the largest crowd to
witness a ball game at Sports¬
man’s Park, the Savannah
Bears and the Savannah Stars
broke even in a doubleheader.
The Stars took the first game
by a score of 4 to l, and tne
Bears copped the nightcap, 3
to C. The game was handled
by Umpires Glover and John¬
son, the former officiating on
bases and the latter behind
the plate.
