Smith, presiding The reports from all grand chapter officers were rendered Tuesday night the Chapter oi Sorrow was held at St. Pau’ AME church with the grand juvenile matron, Mrs. De Vaughn, in charge. The Wednesday morning ses¬ sion included the rites of the matron’s administrative degree which was conferred on thirty- three candidates. The highlight of the meeting was the demon¬ stration of the “Queen of tlY South” by members of the five chapters of Savannah Grand Master Dobbs, who has travel¬ ed extensively, and Mrs. P- B Eichelberger, who has attend d ' the International Grand Chap¬ ter, stated that this demonstra¬ tion was the best they had seen. High praise went to Grand Ma¬ tron Ayers, the sponsor, and she in turn thanked her as¬ sistants, Mrs. M. H. Jones and Mrs. Willie Williams, for the part they plaj^d- Mrs. Ayer? was presented a beautiful bas¬ ket of flowers bearing the five colors of the order, and Mrs Jones received a corsage with the same colors.
