The ATA three-way national champion has been given per¬ mission to leave the college and has accepted the invita¬ tion. A George Stewart fund has been launched at S. S. In the second quarter, PattersoiJ of Beach-Cuyler was tackled behind his own goal line by Brown of Risley, racking up a safety for Risley. In the last half of the game, Gene Mor.ris- on scored on a long touchdown sprint, and Beach-Cuyler took a 6-point lead, holding it for the rest of the game. In spite of the soggy field, both teams played a good brand of ball which was witnessed by a fairly large crowd. Beach’s next game will be on Thursday afternoon, Oct. 21, when they will play Johnson higs school of Augusta at Gray- son stadium is the first to come from a USLTA sanctione dtournament to a student at South Carolina State college.
