RETURNS HOME
It was announced last week
by the War Department that
tlia body of Pfc. Morris Jones
will be returned to Savannah
Thursday, June 16.
The young war hero was
born in Savannah in March,
1921. He attended the local
elementary schools and grad¬
uated from the Beach-Cuyier
high school in the January
class of 1940.
He was inducted into the
army in November', 1942, and
received his basic training at
Fort Devens, Mass., and Camp
in Indiana. From
