of the scenes from his Negro
passion play entitled ’‘Passion
and Triumph,” with several;
new features added.

Right now, he is concentrat¬
ing on f nding work, he declar¬
ed, and his book will have to
wait.
R .hearsals are now in pro¬
gress for this production,

attraction for a dramatized

take place in the main audi¬

ally the author has his plays

A unique feature of this dra¬
ma is that the audience- will
unconsciously become a part
of the drama. The admission
will be free, and the public is
invited. The doors of the

mer Rajiah Ruffner, the
ctiurch’s minister of music,

The annual meeting of the
West Savannah Community
club was held Monday night,
July 11, at the club’s hall.

Almost the entire membership
was present. The pres dent
and other officers made their
annual reports. The spirit of
harmony and good will prevail¬
ed throughout the meeting.
The club has progressed rap¬
idly under the leadership of
President M. J. Jackson, who
has guided the affairs of the
organization for the past fif¬
teen years. The club recently
completed its hall, where all of
its affairs are now held.
The following officers were
unanimously reelected: M. J.
Jackson, president; G. W. Wade,
vice-president; J. M. Gay-
nor, financial secretary; Mrs.
Agnes Carmichael, recorder:
Arnold Roberts, treasurer; F,.
D. Bailey, chaplain; Lennon

and other relatives.
