adequately mastered.
Mrs. Vivian Walker, welfare
consultant, discussed briefly
that there is a dire need for
the rehabilitation of pregnant
mothers in this county. The
present status is most surely
to cause ill effects upon our
social structure.
The drive exceeded all expect¬

Paulsen School
There are many activities
holding our attention this week
although Easter bunnies and
Easter eggs seem to be upper¬
most. The 6-1 and 7th grades
made posters for the halls
while others decorated then-
rooms. Miss William’s 4-Ts are
going to have an Easter egg
hunt. Miss Martin’s second
graders are planning an Easter
party. A special program is
being arranged by the 5R-2
grade.
Interest is high in playing
baseball with future Jackie
Robinsons competing with each
other. Prof. Joseph Green and
Joseph Bristow are sponsors.
The 5-R class has made a
safety poster and learned safe¬
ty songs.
The 6-1 class was fortunate
in seeing the picture ‘William
Tell.” They are making an il¬
lustrated book on the opera
and the movie helped make it
more accurate.
Verdell Lambert of the 6-2
newsreel is working with her
editorial staff trying to get the
class paper printed before ’ the
holidays.
