From this world of grief and

To the land of peace and rest,
God took my dear husband
To everlasting rest.
His weary nights are past,
His ever-patient worn out frame ;
Has found sweet peace at last.
God saw the roads were getting
rough.
The hills were hard to climb;
He gently closed his weary eyes
And whispered, peace be thine.
