Mrs. Frazier Buried
Monday
Mrs. Nellie Frazier died at the
Georgia Infirmary Saturday,
March 3rd, after a short illness.
Mrs. Fazier was a native Sa-
vannhian but lived in Lkeland,
Florida, for quite a while. She
was a faithful member of Fair¬
mont Baptist church, serving
as a member of the choir and
the Ladies Union Society.
Funeral services were held
on Monday afternpon from the
Fairmont Baptist church with
Rev. Charles Reese officiating.
Interment was in Zion White
Bluff cemetery with Wiliams &
Williams Funeral Directors in
charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Frazier was employed by
the Harty family for several
years.
She is survived by cousins,
Mrs, Fred Ford. Mrs. Clyneta F.
I Marcus, Mrs. Mary F. Jones,
| Mrs, Eureka F. Smith and
family, and Mr. and Mrs. Wil-
j Ham Ferguson and a sister-in-
law, Mrs. Matthew Frazier.

who had the courage of his
conviction and who loved, and 1
respected leadership.
Thus did the Rev. E. P.
Quartonnan on Wednesday,
Feb. 24, extol the life and mem¬
ory of Thomas Sears Beaton,
Sr., who had long been a devout
membber of Second Baptist
Church where he served as dea-
■on for over 35 years and trea¬
sure for over 30 years. He was
also secretary and then trea¬
surer of the Carpenter’s Union
of Savannah for a number of
years.
MiLsters present at the ser¬
vices were Rev. B. E. Black, Rev.
John Q. Adams, Rev. Levi Moore
and Rev. A. E. Peacock.
Mr. Beaton is survived by his
wife, Mrs. Janie Lee Beaton,
