AUTO ACCIDENT
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (ANP) —
Mrs. Ruth Redd-Young, 55, of
Washington, 1). (’., was killed in¬
stantly on a highway 90 miles
north of Jefferson City, Mo., early
Saturday morning. Witnesses say
the prominent Eastern matron had
apparently gone to sleep at the
wheel of the small car she was
driving and struck a utility pole.
Mrs. Young was alone save for
her small dog who was kitted also.
The wife of Dr. Moses Young, an
instructor of the Howard Univer¬
sity Medical School, she taught
fine arts at the same institution
until last year.
