The faculty, pupils and parents
of Frank W. Spencer School have
accepted the N.E.A.’s theme, “An
Educated People Move Forward"
as a guide to their’ own thinking
and planning and because they rec¬
ognize its importance, they pro¬
vide and engage wholeheartedly in
j many varied activities.
The observance of this theme
throughout the year thus far fol¬
lows the suggested topics listed in
the 1957 American Education
wjck Calendar.
Keeping in mind there topics

sponsibility for the development

ed to the pleasure of school and
community; tho Safety Patrols,
who presented a skit over WTOC
emphasizing safety practices to
and from school and the Editorial
or Public Relations Committee
that has taken over the duty of
making known to the public the
activities of the school. It has
done this through regular news
articles and its own school pub¬
lication, The Spencer Log.

Antioch School
For American Education Week,
I Antioch School has many plans

school to parents and members of

We have prepared a . pedal dis¬
play and demonstration to .how
! how we are training our boys and

Through these activities wc hope
! to establish better relationship be-
j ! tween the school and the com-
munity by helping them to under-
I stand the advances made by edu¬
cation over the period of years.
