1 % cups (large can) undiluted
Carnaiion Evaporated Milk
1 cup water
2 eggs
«/ 2 cup sugar
i/ 4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 '/j teaspoons vonilia
2 cups cooked rice
i/j cup seedless raisins
Beat Carnation, water, eggs, sug¬
ar and flavorings until smooth.
Pour over rice and raisins which
have been mixed together in a
2-quart casserole. Place casse¬
role in pan of hot water. Bake in
moderate oven (350° F.) 30 min¬
utes Stir lightly. Continue bak-

Final Rites Held For
Mrs. Darling, Friday
Funeral services for Mrs.
Marie G. Darling were held Fri¬
day afternoon at 3 o’clock at
3t. Matthew’s Episcopal church.

Curtrighit.
Interment was in Laurel
Grove cemetery with the Sidney
A. Jones Funeral Home in
charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Darling died on Decem¬
ber 29 at the residence of her
son-in-law and daughter, Mr.
and Mrs. John McIntosh, 703
West 45 Street where she had
resided since her health failed
a few years ago. Prior to this
illness, Mrs. Darling lived for
more than twenty years in New
York City. She was one of the
tounders of the Judes Episcopal
Church in New York City.
The deceased is survived by
a daughter, Mrs. Inez McIn¬
tosh; a son, Harry F. Glover
of New York City; a grand¬
daughter, Mns. Patricia M. Pres-
cott of Hampton, Ya.; a cousin,
Mi's Louise B. Smith of Charles¬
ton, S. C.; four grandchildren
and other relatives and friends.
