MISS HELEN A. WILSON
who passed
June 26, 1959
Tho a month has only pa :ed,
dear,
It seems I miss you more each
day.
And I’m so oft sad and lonely,
Since you went away.
For since you are gone, cur
dear one,
And the voice we loved is still,
A place is vacant in our home.
Which never can be filled.
Nobody knows how much we
miss you,
O how hard it was for me
To say, “Thy will be done, dear
Lord,"
And your sweet face no more
to see.
O, I miss you so, my Helen,
And the tears do freely flow,
For I yet can't understand why
It was you who had to go.
But I’m trying to be submiss¬
ive
For I know, God knoweth best
And I’m sure that you ar ■’ with I
him
In the land of peace and rest.
Friends came in to comfort.
Brought flowers by the score,
Did many things to comfort
Till they could do no more.
We’re trying to carry on
Ais you would have us do,
Hoping to have you clasp our
hand
When our work on earth is
through.
And some day we're going to
meet you
Just how long I cannot tell—
Till I’ll be with you and others
And my Slewed Lord to dwell.

MR. EPHRAIM ALLEN
who passed away three years

July 30, 1956
The month of July is here
The saddest month of the year
For it was on the thirtieth day
My darling husband passed
away.
Gohe from me his loving face.
His cheerful, pleasant ways.
A heart that won so many
friends
In bygone, happy days.
Though his smiles are gone for¬
ever,
And the hands I cannot touch
I shall never lose sweet mem-
ories
Of the one I love so much.
God gave me strength to face it
And courage to bear the blow;
But what it meant to lose you
No one will ever know.
Some have forgotten that you
are gone.
But I remember, no matter how
long.
In my heart tears shall ever
flow
In memory of the one that x
loved so,
Till I too shall reach that shore
Where sorrow and parting is
no more.
