SSC Art Club Presents
Exhibition of Paintings
The Art Club of Savannah
State College announces an
Exhibition of fine paintings by
Negro artists of Savannah and
invited artists from several
states. The exhibition will be
hung in the Galleries of Tel¬
fair Academy of Arts and Sci¬
ences beginning Sept. 8. The
show will remain hung for
three weeks or more depend¬
ing upon public response.
This show will represent the
materialization of an idea:
long held by many of the local
artists. Mrs. Virginia Kiah has
been very instrumental in
fecting the forthcoming
