A program consisting of musical
numbers and readings by local tal¬
ent will he rendered, (if interest
will be the panel discussion en¬
titled, ‘Woman In Today’ World,”
by five prominent educators of
the community.

hour will be held.

A group of young people of
the St, James AME church have
organized a new chorus which
they have named after the
pastor of the church, the Rev.
B. C. Carswell, Sr. The group
meets for rehearsal every Wed¬
nesday night at the church at
eight o’clock, and other young
members of the church who
may be interested m-e invited
to join. Present members are
Mrs. Mabel Singleton, presi¬
dent and pianist; Matthew H
Howard, vice president; Miss
MUriam Collins, secretary; Miss
Alnora Bryant, assistant secre¬
tary; Raymond C. Howard, trea¬
