But ye, brethren, be not
weary in well doing.- (Thes-
salonians 3, 13.)
Why are so many of us these
days addicted to piils to make
ue sleep, to give us needed
energy, to allay our nervous¬
ness and tension? Let us try
stopping at least once a day,
in the headlong rush, to help
someone in need, unselfishly to
lighten another's load—and in
well doing, find peace.

Gem Thoughts for Meditation
“For who upon the hearth can start a fire,
And never warm the stpne?
Or who can cheer another’s heart,
And not his own?
I stilled a hungry infant’s cry,
With kindness filled a stranger’s cup,
And lifting others,
Found that I was lifted up.”
