Holton for mixed voices, will be present¬ ed by the Second Baptist Church Choirs on Sunday evening, April 10, at 8 o’clock at the church. The cantata is under the direction of Professor E. J. Josey. Dr. J. L. Wilson, organist, St. John Baptist Church will serve as guest organ¬ ist. Professor Elmer Ruffner, minister of music, First African Baptist Church, will preside at the piano. I The Cantata wil! open with the opening chorus, “Let the Righte¬ ous Be Glad,” followed by an alto solo, “He Chose the Cross of Shame”; “There Was No Other Way,' 1 a male chorus with Albert Wheeler doing the bass solo is the third number. “Betrayed,” a tenor solo sung by Jesse Kearse and the choir sets the stage for the Easter story.
