PAGE EIGHT UGA HONORS FOUR — During its recent Atlanta convention, the United Golfers Association honor¬ ed four persons deemed to have made outstanding contributions to golf. A formidable list of experts and specialists have been invited for panel discussion and lectures. Included among the speakers are Bill Veeck, president of the Chi¬ cago White Sox baseball team, who is slated to discuss “Selling Pub- lie Relations and Promotion," John H. Johnson, one of the na¬ tion’s most successful publishers, is also on the program, discussing "Selling in The Negro Market”. Population trends and their re¬ lations to sales will be discussed by Dr. Philip Houser, sociology and population expert of the Uni¬ versity of Chicago. Thomas Burrows, vice president and general manager of the An¬ heuser-Busch company of St. Louis will share his experience in special sales programs. Two of the nation’s top experts in the field of public relations will discuss public relations met!.- ods and techniques. They are Jos- eph V. Baker, board chairman of Joseph V.
