the 42nd annual convention of
the G. T. and E. Association
was a “tremendous suc¬
cess.” This success was due,
she says, to the response of Sa-
vannahians in providing homes
and eating accommodations for
the many delegates and visi¬
tors who were in the city.
Many delegates were unable to
attend the convention, there-
fore some of the homes that
were on the reserved list were
not used. The C. C. T. A. is
grateful to everyone who work¬
ed so diligently for the conven¬
tion and to keep Savannah’s
reputation as the “Hostess City
of tJhe South.”
