The Cheyenne Fight
Liavknwobth, April 14.—From un-

that the troops were badly whipped by

Hills, on April 8th. The loss la said to be
much heavier than reported. It is new
evident that the Cheyenne Indians buried
their best gana in tha sand, aad only
turnod over to Gen. Neill the old end
worthless muskets. They left the agency
without anas, but whsn nttooked on the
Hills had approved rifles and plenty of
ammunition. The troops charged reek,
leesly, supposing tbe Indiana to be
armed, hence the slaughter of troops.
