The meal has great strength and causes too much laxativeners if fed alone,
nsrticniarly until the animal becomes Eccns'cmed to it Therefore, we recom
mend that for several days after commencing its use, give one quart at each
feed, mixed wi h bran, cr with dry chopped feed. Gradually increase the quan
tity untiliwo quarts or more are given at a fe6d. If thus fed, tne result will
give great satisfaction.
Sheep may be fed with the met!, with or without other food, giving four
quarts twice a day to fifty sheep, or in this prop’ rticn.
