Complaints of poor stands of cotton are I heard in every direction in Cobb county, j - In some instances the land is being plowed up and replanted. The hard rains and I | wind which prevailed after much of tlie- cotton was put in the ground baked the | ground so that the sprouts can’t make their ! way through the crust. Some are going 1 o\,-r their cotton with a rake to give the seed a showing.
