The officers of •the army are greutly excited and talk of •detaining the prince. They have resolved, j in any ease, to refuse to receive u Russian , ■envoy. They will hold a meeting to de- I ■eide what course to adopt. The city is /tranquil. PROFESSIONS OF LOYALTY. When Prince Alexander reached Holla he was met by a vast concourse of citizens, (headed h.v the mayor. The latter present- •ed to the prince an address of welcome. It expressed loyalty and submission on the part of the Bulgarians, and universal grief •over the recent events. Prince Alexander, in reply, said his confidence in the future •was unshaken. He summoned all Bulga rians to assist him in nreserving •order. The prince entered the town in triumph. His cortege was preceded by a troop of Roumellan hus- -sa™, followed by infantry. Gaily attired peasants, who had ridden out to'meet the jii’iuce, followed the dense masses which lined the streets and cheered the proces sion as it made its way toward the eathe- <!raL where the Te Deuni was sung.
