Mr. Seligman has plenty of money and Is anxious to make a good paper, and with the right man as editor there is nothing to prevent his do ing so. The first issue will probably appear some time in October, and from what [ hear of its projector’s intentions it will be welcomed to a. place which may bo said to be uutilled.—New York Critic. As the blinds of all the saloons were drawn down and her majesty was presumably slumbering in her travel ing bed, it is difficult to comprehend the practical object of the provost’s demon stration, which must have been accom plished at considerable inconvenience to himself.—London Truth.
