Hill as “an astute politician.” This is a droll mistake. Mr. Hill may be astute, but he is not and does not pretend to be a politician. He is a horny-handed farmer from ’way down back, a simple yeoman from Yeoraanville, an industrious culti vator of short-horn ensilage, but not a politician. It would be well for the agri cultural editor of the Herald to send Mr. Hill an apology. Address David B. Hill, cure of the next county fair, and it cannot fail of reaching him.—New York Tribune.
