Whereas, we have been convened for the pur
pose of making “a thorough investigation and
examination of the financial operations of the State
of Georgia from 1861 to the present time,*’ and de
sire, without prejudice or partiality, to discharge
the duty imposed. We invite all persons to come
torward and give, under oath, all tne evidence they
may have that will throw light on the subject mat
ter of investigation.
On motion, the above resolution was referred to
the Provisional Governor for publl lation.
