than 1200 persons to tbs States ef Georgia sod Alabama alone, and more than WO. If we include Kentucky
and Tennesasec, and more than 3700, including North and South Carolina, very many of whom were pro
nounced incurable by their attending physicians, and given np to die. but who to-day, thank Ood, are still
in the land of tbe living, and in the enjoyment of perfect health, pursuing their accustomed avocations.
The Doctor does not make these statements because he considers himself more skillfal than those other
physicians, bat simply because be sincerely believes that the remedies which he employs will prove much
more efficacious, and are more completely adapted to the treatment of disnaoes, especially these of a chronic
nature. Afflicted, read carefully—consider seriously and nnprejadicially. and aet immediately. Call at once

The Doctor furnishes all the nscessary remedies at once to remove the complaint, thoroughly and perma

Mr. Sanssey agreed fully with tho motion of

Mr. Anderson opposed tho motion.

The Chair decided the point well taken, and
tho amendment out of order.
Mr. Phillips, of Echols, favored the motion to
suspend tho rules. Ho was Tilling to remain
hero and make a sacrifice as far as pay was con
cerned. He called the previous question.
Mr. Harper, of Terrell—Had been in favor of
adjournment ail the time, bnt he thought they
ought to remain a few days longer in order to
finish the business before them. He did not
think two or three days longer would make a
material difference to the State. He hoped the
rules would be suspended.
Mr. McDougal appealed from the decision of
the Chair. The understanding had gone out to
the world that they were to adjourn on Friday,
and if they coaid not do so then he held that
they owed it to the State to remain a few days
longer.
The appeal from the decision of the Chair
was put but not sustained by the House.
Mr. Shmnate offered an amendment, adjourn
ing on 'Wednesday. 17th, at 12 n. The amend
ment was accepted and the previous question
called, when the vote stood, yeas 75, nays 62.

Mr. McWhorter moved, as it was impossible
to get through with the business, that the House
bills be laid on the tabic.
Mr. Kellogg offered a resolution appointing a
committee of five to investigate and determine
which lulls were most important. The rules
were not suspended.
Mr. McWhorter withdrew his resolution.
Mr. Fitzpatrick offered a resolution adjourn
ing at 12 ai.. to-day.
The rules were not suspended.
Mr. Sparks, of Bibb, asked leave to withdraw
a bill enlarging tho powera of the Mayor and
City Council of the city of Macon. Leave was
granted.
Mr. Fitzpatrick asked a suspension of tho
rules for the purpose of taking np the following
resolutions :
