HOME QUESTIONS FOR THE SICKLY AND DE
BILITATED.
Is it worth while to enduro penal torture after
every meal, when indigestion can be immediately
relieved and permanently cured by ao agreeable a
remedy as HOSTTERB STOMACH BITTERS ?
Does it pay to bo compelled by debility and lan
guor to abandon active business, when brain, nerro
and muscle can bo braced up, and the whole system
restored to a healthy condition, by a course of HOS-
XBm RITTERS ?
Why approach tho dinnor-tablo daily with a posi
tive disgust for all that is savory and delicious,
when a vigorous appetite for oven the plainest faro
to created by tho use of HOSTETTER’S BITTERS ?
Is it wise to live in this bright world, as if it were
a dungeon, gloomy, discontented and miserable,
when the worst caso of hypochondria can be cured
in a week by such a pleasant and wholesome exhil-
arant as HOSTETTER’S BETTERS ?
Can it be possible that any person of bilious habit
will run the risk of remittent fever and bilious colic,
when he can tone and regulate the great secretive
organa with HOSTETTER’S BETTERS ?
Ia it not a species of moral insanity for any mer
chant, farm or, mechanic, or traveler to bo without
the beet known antidote for the effects of poisoned
sir and impure water, HOSTETTER’S BITTERS.
Considering the harassing and depressing nature
of the functional derangements to which woman is
subject, is it not astonishing that any invalid of the
feebler sex should hesitate to seek the certain relief
afforded in such cases by tho genial operation of
H03TETTERS BETTERS ?
These aro questions of deeper interest than any
of tho political dogmas of the day, and those whom
they concern are invitod to give them something
more than a passing thought.

Pyrafnge can well stand, as to-day it is decidedly
the favorite remedy for chills and fever, dumb ague
and other diseases of a malarious origin, in tho city
of Savannah where it is prepared. Tho principal
druggtsto of the city would as much think of doing
without castor oil in their stores as to bo without
this popular (and deservedly so) remedy. It is a
vegetable preparation free from deleterious drugs,
and acts as a tonic upon the entire system, thereby
i/ft igorating the system, so much so as to enable it
to throw off disease. Pyrafnge does not nauseate
or sicken the patient, and e*n he token by the most

The Postal Department.
The New York Times says:
As an indication of tho spirit in which Post-
master-General Cressweli, intends to deal with
all violations of tho postal laws, whether small
or great, the following letter, addressed to a
prominent Postmaster in Georgia, is given :
Sib : The enactments of law defining crimes
against the Postoffice establishment admonish
every person in the employ of tho Department
that the law-making power intends to throw
around the purity of correspondence the solemn
sanctity of its protection. The highest duty the
Department owes the people is to preserve by
.n Hie means within its power the absolute
sanctity of a seal. The enactments of law re
ferred to are entirely explicit. You are required
to instruct your subordinates that every viola
tion of law in this respect, as well as other
crimes, the Postmaster-General will visit with
punishment to the fullest extent of the law. In
tbig connection, and in view of the facto ad
dressed to the Depsrtment of complicity, if not
actual crime, by one .of the clerks employed in
your office, the Postmaster-General directs that
said clerk be instantly dismissed from service.
Yon will permit no one to continue or be em
ployed in your office whose character for per
sonal integrity may not command the confidence
of the Postmaster-General.
Respectfully yours,
C. B. Abmsteoxo,
