DU. HOUEL, a French Physician, respectfully
informs the public, that he has established
SI EAM and MEDICAL BATHS in Augusta
The very high repute these Baths have acquired (
in Europe, where (although a late discovery) ,
they are to be found in every hospital, and the ,
great cures they have performed in Boston, Phi (
ladelphia and Charleston, can leave no doubt o \
their efficacy. The most gentle as well as tlx
most powerful medicines are administered by ilia {
means, without any pain, trouble or disgust to th ;
patient.
They are a never failing remedy in all cutane J
“us affections; from Psora, Ringworms, &c. u
Scaldhead and Leprosy. They also have neve,
failed of success in either acute or ch-ontc rheu
malism. (
In glandular obstructions, chlorosis, a.iasarcou
twellmgs, incipient dropsy; in all diseases of ibt
joints, gouty affections, dispersion of tumors, ill
cured syphilis, spasmodic or nervous affections; j
in all bilious disorders, dyspepsia, hypocondriasb 1
epilepsy—these baths have been found most ser *
viceable, and have often succeeded even in here v
ditary complaints. In fine, Ibis manner of admin 1
istering almost every remedy belonging to the ’
healing art, may be rendered applicable to almost s
every cssc, and (it is repeated) without any pain. J
trouble, or disgust to the patient. 1
As these baths are not yet generally known
Dr. IlnuKi. will be happy to give the most res- 1
pectahle references to persons who have beet ’
cured by taking them. H
