For the establishment of a lost paper,
lOVoNthe petition of Joshua Lovett, setting
forth, that he was lately possessed of a Deed ot
Conve) ar.ee, "made and executed by Michael
Dougherty of me county aforesaid, on or about
the twenty-fifth day of August, A. O. 1821, which -
consideration was two hundred dollars, and by
which was conveyed a tract or parcel of land
containing one hundred sod forty-three and three
quarter acres, in the; county of Jackson, and
state sf re said, originally granted to Thomas ;
Graves, lying on the waters of the Mulberry fork
of the Oconee River, hounded by Lots No. 2 anc |
5 (two and five) a copy ol said Deed is of file ir ,
this office.
It is therefore Ordered, upon the petition afore
said, that the said eert of Conveyance be and i
the same is hereby ordered to he established in
lieu ol the oiiginal so lost as aforesaid, unle.s good

UPON Petition of Robert Dillon, praying the
foreclosure ot the Equity of Redemption in
and to all those three Lots of Land, situated lying
and being in the city of Augusta, viz : Two Lots
known and distinguished in the plan of the said
city, by numbers fifteen and sixteen, bounded
northwardly by Hay-street, eastwardly by Hous
ton-street, southwardly by Reynold-street, and
westerly by Lot number fourteen ; containing
two acres, more or less, which said two Lots
were conveyed to the said William Lamkin, by-
Ueed of Indenture from James Oliver, of the ci
ty of Augusta. Also, one other Lot, bounded
. north by Ellis street, east by Louis Barrie’s Lot,
; south by Green-street, and west by John Turpin’s
' Lot; containing one quarter of an acre mure or
less, which said Lot was conveyed to the said
William Lamkin by Deed of Indenture from An
' selm Hugg, Sheriff of Richmond county : w hich
said three Lots were mortgaged by the said Wil
liam Lamkin to William G. Dillon, Robert Dillon,
Crayton & Sloan and Walton Knight, to secure
the payment of a certain promissory note by
them endorsed : the said William C. Dillon, Cray
ton & Sloan and Walton Knight, having subse
quently to the date of said mortgage, conveyed
. and confirmed to the said Robert .Dillon, all their t
right, title, interest, claim or demand, of, in and to
the said mortgaged premises, and the sum of
Four Thousand Dollars being now due upon the
said mortgage :
Therefore now, to wit : at November Term,
1825, upon motion of Jobs W. Wild®, Petition
ers Attorney—
It is ordered by the Court, That the principal
interest and costs due on said mortgage, be paid
into Court within twelve months from the date
hereof; or from thenceforth the Equity of Re
demption will be forever barred and foreclosed,
and the mortgaged premises sold as the law di
rects. And it is further Ordered, That a copy of
this rule be published in one of the Gazettes of |
this City, at least once in every minth, until the .
time appointed for payment, or served on the -
mortgagor or his special agent, at least six months (
previous to the time the money is directed to be
paid.

forth that he was lately possessed of, as owner oi
a promisory note, made bv Jes*e Russel, of Hen
ry county, Georgia, dated 2d March, 1825, and
1 payable 25th December, 1825, for two hundred
dollars, and alledging, that said note had been
, lost or mislaid, and praying that a copy of such
note which is annexed to said petition, may be
established in lieu ot the original so lost or mislaid
and the petition being supported by the atfadavit
of the said George J. Conn. It is ordered, That
the said note in the words and figures following
