Rnseell objected tothe confirmation of the minutee on aootmnt of ttie action of the previous meeting.on the 11th Sole of the Board, and a lengthy and somewhat, excited discussion upon a point of order followed, all arising out of ihe question whether a refusal to confirm the minutes of a previous meeting was equivalent to a reconsideration of the action of that meeting. The lltb Rule is that which provides for dispensing of aid to indigent people by the Board. The minutes were finally confirmed, excepting the passage relating to the action on the 11th Rule. The week’s reports of the,several committees of the feo«rd were then received! The case of John Arthur end Tbonms Pitman was brought before the Inferior Court of Chateam County yesterday, by virtue ol a writ of habeas corpus issued tv the Interior Court in their favor.
