I The quarantine anchorage for iufected vessels
at Savannah will be In Tybee Roads at the white
buoy. The hospital will he located on Tybee Island,
and there will be two examining stations—one in the
Savaunah river, below the bnoy on the tail of the
Knoll; the other at Turners Rocks, on Whitmarsh
Island.
II. For the port of Darien, the quarantine anchO’-
age will he located by the Health Officer of that port
at some convenient point in Doboy Sound, as far dis
tant as possible from the main channel, and will he
marked by a white bnoy. The hospital and examin
ing station will be on the north eud of Wolf Island'
or at such other more convenient location as the
Health Officer may determine.
III. For the port of Brunswick, tile quarantine an
chorage will be selected by the Health Officer at
some suitable point in St. Simons Sound, and will
be marked by a white buoy. The hospital and exam-

antine. The Health Officer, however, shall in such
case endorse on her hill of health the circumstances
under which she leaves port, ihe length of her deten
tion and actual condition; must feel assured that the
sick on board will he properly eared for and send to
the quarantine hospital such sick as may desire to
remain.
X. The Health Officer is hereby empowered to ar
rest any parson or persons who may violate quaran*
tlue regulations, or obstruct rbe Quarantine Officer
or any of bis employees, iu tbe performance of their
duty, or who may disobey any special orders given
by him.
XI. In case of neglect or refusal of the master,
owner or consignee of any vessel to comply with any
order or direction of the Health Officer, the latter
shall have power to employ such persons and assist
ance as may be necessary tb enforce and carry out
his order or direction, aud the expense thereof shall
he paid by the vessel. But the Health Officer In the
lighterage, stevedorage and storage, of Tsssela and
merchandise in quarantine, may permit the Captain
or owners to employ lighterage and men on their
own account : such men, however, shall be subject
to the same restrictions for the protection of the
public health as those under tlie direction of the

The commanders ol vessels will be held reepon-
aible for the rigid enforcement of the following rules;
1. The forecastle, steerage and cabin must be
scrubbed and sprinkled with chloride or Hme every
other day, if not otherwise directed by the Health
Officer, aud strict cleanliness must be preserved in
all parts of the vessel.
2. All soiled clothing and bedding mast be washed,
aired and disinfected.
3. The bilge water must be pumped out completely
twice a day, aud the well cleaned by fresh water

Writ of Possession fob a Mule—A writ of pos
session case for the recovery of a mule was tried be
fore Justice Staley yesterday afternoon. The mule
. was in tbe possession of Gen. Henry R. Jackson, at his
place, when Sherman’s army passed through here,
from which time it was lost sight of until a tew days
ago, when it was seen by one of Gen. Jackson's Dormer
alaves, ploughing in a field near the Springfield plan- '
fiation. An action was forthwith brought for the re
covery of the mule, and notwithstanding it has been
branded with the lettera-U.S., and the witnesses for the
defence stated that it had been in possession ot the
Government, it was shown by the witnesses for the
prosecution that the mule was in the possession and
