Martyrs to Intermittent Fever, a "'.r<l with you. The
responsibility for your suffering rests upon your
selves. Just as safely as yon shake t*>-day.° T
shake to-morrow, HOSTETTER’S CELEBRATED
STOMACH BITTERS 'rill extinguish tlie disease un
der which you labor. Had you taken this genla,
tonic as a preventive, you would have Uj need of It
as a care, for it renders the system impervious to all
miasmatic fevers. But since you neglected the pre-
caution, rid yourselves without delay of the com
plaint by resorting io the only reliable remedy.—
Brdak the chills with UOSTETTETt’S BITTERS, and
they will return no more. This is the experience of
thousands, and It will be yours. Quinine is a slow
means of relief: it Is nauseous lo the last degree: it
ia more dangerous than the malady Itself; iu many
cases it utterly fails, liow different is the efleefe of
the Bitters. Tlieir curative action ia rapid; they are
agreeable to the palate; they are not only entirely
harmless, but tend inevitably io strengthen the con
stitution and prolong life; they never hav. failed, and
it is confidently assumed that they never can fail in
any case of Fev« r and Ague, however inveterate in
its character. To lie without nostetter’s Bitters in
any region infected with Intermittent or Remittent
Fever is simply to reject safety and court disease.
jylT-codiy
The Cause of Cholera ia a vexed question among
physicians. Its nature is now pretty well agreed upon.
It is primarily a disease of the bowels, in which, owing
to a relaxed and abnormal state, the scrum or white
part of the blood is drawn oft into the intestines, and
hence the peculiar •‘rice-water discharges.” A man
who dies of Cholera is, in effect, bled to death. The
proper treatment is, first, to administer astringents to
bind up or contrail the relaxed organs, then the viti
ated blood acts as an irritant upon the nervous cen
tres; hence the violent spas ms and retching; for this
an opiate is required. Both these essentials are com
bined in MARSDEN’S ASIATIC CHOLERA CURE,
which is based upon stricth philanthropic principles,
and has shown itself to be the most effectual remedy
against this disease. Depot, 487 Broadway, New York.
