STOMACH BITTEttS
Are the only Medicinal Tonic In the World Of kjdch

To Dyspoptio Sufferers. S
Under the general head of Dyapepsia may bd claascd
all the vartefles of indigestion. Its synipfotns' are
so various, and differ so mnch in different individnals
that It is almost tmpaaslbla toriaamfy them In fact,
some of thenthre utferF ImMpcghahN. It may be
safely asserted, however, that half tbe diseases of
mankind spring from a disordered ontriitfon of the
stomach; and that the other half^l AfltoW their
origin, react Upon that sensitive and iatSW>rtaat or
gan. Among toe ordinary indications of ByspCpsia
are flatnlencc.a bloated and lull.Jgciiu'g about the
stoptach and abdomen Immediately after eating, a.

sional nausea, restlasWtoss durhuftthtaiid a weary,

tion of the heart, depression of mind, sometimes
amounting to monomania, leas of memory, eoafu-
sion of thonght, soar stomach, with raising or food,
and a choking- sensation in the throat, dimness or
eye, pain in »ie diaphragm, feebleness aufl disincli
nation for exertion, and sometimes emaciation and a
corpse-like pallor. These are a few of the direct
signs of Dyspepsia, bnt as it is generally complicated
with specific affections of toe bowels, the liver and
the ueives, its victims have many additional torments
which are technically attributed to other causes.
The best advice that can be given to any one who
has the slightest predisposition to DyBp®P 3 **, la tofor-
tify bis or her digestive organs by the daily nse of
Hostetter’s Bitters.
The disease proceeds from a look or vigor in the
stomach, and this vitalizing preparation will tone
and renovate that organ. If the gastric apparatus is
in good working order, and can perfectly dissolve
and thoroughly assimilate the food submitted to its
operation, there will be no Dyspepsia. If .it cannot
do this, it requires reinforcement, and the best of all
reinforcing agents should bo forthwith resorted to.
The stomach is the commissariat of tbe system. It
applies the elements of life to toe whole bodyl In
it is prepared toe material of blood, muscle, bone
and fibre, and If it fails to purvey that material in
quantity, and of aproper kind, the whole body sur
fers, and with ittite mehtaf fhMllfes- Thre>4»(t Pro
tect the commissariat department. Don’t let ttte en
emy obtain possessionol it. It is easier to prevent
disease from getting into an organ than to expel it_
after it becomes^ chronic fixture. Consider, the
firat indication of nneasinesa la, |hp stomach a* a-
sign that DFspepBia-ls preparing to attack, fetid feiffle
it st once with tbe GREAT RBPBLLANT.
Bnt if it is too late to prevent; remember that it is
not too late to cure. It is believed that there is no
casco! CbronieIndigestion that caU wttostana the
remedial operation of
Hostetter’s Stomach Bitters.
This belief Is grounded on twelve yeast’ experience
of toe efficacy of the preparation. Ike Hist instance
of its failure to give relief ia yet nnchronicled.. If it
ever had failed, toe voluminous correspondence ad
dressed tothe proprietors from all parts of (be United
States and BoaUi America, would at least inetadq,
one letter expressing dtesattsfsctto'n. Bat no, there
is not one. The testimony, extending over a period
of more toana dozen years, 1s all of tbe approving
tenor. Certainly tots Is a snffleient warrant" for
claiming that toe BITTERS are a SPECI FIC FOR

HOSTETTER’S BITTERS
Are not unpleasant to the. taste, and alwaya. soothe
and quiet, instead of Irritating the stomach. Indeed
they are the best known preventative of and cure for

scarcely be overrated. For sickness at the stomacli?

ache, lassitude, tow spirits, and toe thousand and
