Gye’s artists cost him $35,000 per month, and his orchestra $500 per night. —The provisions of the peace treaty of Prague Jwill not be made public until the act is ratified iJy all the powers concerned. Italy has demanded from Austria the restoration of all the national relics in Venice The iron crown of Lombard^Is included in (he list. —From the Upper Missouri reports are received that the Blackfeet and CSbws have commenced hostilities. The Crows tore their treaty to pieces, and have murdered two men. —The receipts for customs at the ports of New Tork, Boston, Philadelphia and Balti more, for the week ending the 25th inst., were upward of $3,800,000. At New Or leans, from Ang. 13 to 18, inclusive, the receipts were nearly $300,000, thus making a tota|,of over $4,000,000 for one week. The aggregate for the month at these ports will reach nearly $7,000,000. I i —According to the United States census of 1865, there were 12,577,329 youths be tween the ages of five and twenty-one. How he will get along with the jealous Peruvian and Cbilinn officers remain to be seeD. —The beet Sugar Manufacturing Company at Chatswortb, Illinois, says the St. Louis Republican, have six hundred acres of beets growing this year.
