To Dyspeptic Sufferers.
Under the general head of Dyspepsia may be classed
all the varieties of Indigestion. Its symptoms are
so various, and differ so much in different individuals
some «f them are utterly lBddlcrlhlttW It may be
safely asserted, however, that half the diseases of
tgankfnd spring friub a disordered cenditioo of tbe
stomach; and that the: other half,'whatever their
origin, react upon that sensitive and Important or
gan. Among the ordinary indications of Dyspepsia
iling about the
after eating, a
gnawing sensation or a~sen«e oThollowness at the
pit of the stomach between meals, a heavy dnl! feel
ing In the head, feeble or unsteady appetite, occa
sional nausea, restlessness dnriqgnightand a weary,
nnrefreshed feeling on rising in tbe morning, palpita
tion of the heart, depression of mind, sometimes
amounting to monomania, loss of memory, confu
sion of thought, soar stomach, with tailing of food,
and a choking sensation in the throat, dimness of
eye, pain in the diaphragm, feebleness and disincli
nation for exertion, and sometimes emaciation and a
corpse-like pallor. These are a few of the direct
sigus of Dyspepsia, bnt as it is generally complicated
with specific affections of the bowels, tlm liver and
the i>eives, Its victims have many addm'ifnid liiimsnts
which are technically attributed to other causes.
The best advice that can be given to any one who
has the slightest predisposition to Dyspepsia, is to for
tify bis or her digestive organs by the daily nse of
Hostette^s Bitten*. ? t
The disease proceeds from a lack of vigor In the
stomach, and this vitalizing preparation will tone
and renovate that organ. If the gastric apparatus is
in good working order, and can perfectly dissolve
and thoroughly jtssimil||B the food submitted to Its
operation, there will be ho Dyspepsia. If It cannot
do this, it requires reinforcement, and the best of all
reinforcing agents should be forthwith resorted to.
The stomach Is the commissariat of the system. It
applies the elements of life to tbe whole body. In
itTts prepared tbe material of blood, muscle, bone
and fibre, and if it fails t* purvey that material in
quantity, and qf sproper kind, the whole body Buf
fers, and with It the mental faculties. Therefore pro
tect the commissariat department. Don't let the en
emy obtain possession of it. It Is eas'er to prevent
disease from getting into an qrgin’khqh .ui fex^el it
after it becomes a chronic fixture. Consider the
first indication of nneasiness I* the stomach as a
sign that Dyspepsia is prywriy to^ttack. firntt-affle
it at once with the GREAT 1 RETELL AWT. * '-
But if it Is too late to prevent, remember that it is
not too late to care. It is believed that there is no
case of Chronic Indigestion that can withstand tbe
remedial operation of
Hostetter’s Stomach Bjtt ers.
This belief is grounded on twelve years* experience
of the efficacy of the preparation. Thefost instance
of its fallureto givereliaf is yet unebroaided, if it

I was Induced by a Mend to make a trial of Bar
rett’a Vegetable Hair Restorative, and I am very
much pleased with the effect It has had on my hair.
I was nearly half gray, and now, before using one
bottle, my head is treed from dandruff, and my hair
has all the appearance of youth. 1 (ally believe Bar
rett’s to be the best hair preparation in the world.
