Arrlere PeuMi
He wrap, me round with hlg riche..
He covers me np with hi. cue.
And hi. love is the love of . manhood,
’ Whose life is. living prayer.
I have plighted my woman', affections,
I have given my all in all.
And the flowara of a daily contentment
Renew their sweet live, ere the fall.
And yet like an instrument precious,
That playeth an olden time.
My heart in the midst of its blessing!,
Goes back to a day in June—
To a day when beneath the branches
I stood by a silent stream.
And saw in it. bosons an Image
As one aeeth afscein adrearn.
I would not resign his devotion*
No, not for a heart that lives 1 ,
Nor change one Jot my condition
For th$ change’that condition gives;
I should mourn not tngre for another.
Nor mwe for another rejoice.
Than near, when I weep at his absence.
Or welcome hi. step and his voice.
And yet like an instrument precious.
That pUyeth an olden tune.
My heart in the midst of its blessings.
Goes luck to a day In June—
To a day when beneath the branches
I stood in the shadowy light.
And heard the low word, of a yrhisper
As one heareth a voice in the night.
