Board sf Health. The regular weekly meeting of the Board of Health waa held last evening. Present—Dr. J. D. nab, man, and thirteen members. The minutes of the last meeting were read and con firmed. The mortuary report, which will be found in another column, was then read; showing the number of for thfe week to have been sixty, of which eleven whites and nineteen.blacks were from cholera. The following mne wards out of the forty-two in the city were reported upon by the different members present, as being in good order, viz : Anson ward, Berrien.’ward, Chatham ward, Brown ward, Jackson ward. Lafayette ward, Heathcotnward, Reynolds ward, Washington ward. PmOimm. - - BlUUidfa By an advertiament in another column, it will be aeen ihat Mr. McConnell baa reopened hia new billiard room near the market, which ia anpplied -with three of Sharp's first class tables, and we understand he will shortly have another match for a champion cue. This healthful game ia becoming very popular, and many of oar yonng men are becoming very proficient in it. and ere long we may hope to have a conteatant of our own who will be able to cope successfully with some of the champions of the Northern cities. We were witness on Monday night last, of an ama teur game between Mr. H. B. Butler, who 4s employed by Mr. Luce, at the Marshall House, and Mr. Bur- nett, of Atlanta. It waa a discount game of two hun dred points, played npon one of the fine carom tables in the Metropolitan Billiard Hall, and daring, tha pro gress of the game several remarkably fine shots were made, Mr. Butler at one time making a ran of one hundred and fifty-five points; at another time a run of one hundred and four. Several fine rans were made by Mr. Burnett, but the game ended in favor of Mr- Butler. The County Court. In the Connty Court yesterday, His Honor, Judge Levi S. Russell; presiding, the following business was disposed of : The Grand Jury was in session but a short time, and found true bills against the following parties, viz: State vs. Limas Howard and Charles Myrick (col ored)—Larceny. State vs. Samuel Enlley (colored)—Lareany. . State va. Samuel Reilly (colored)—Larceny. Plea- Guilty. Fined thirty dollars, or to he placed at work on tne public works for fifteen days. The Kunkel Troupe.—This favorite troupe of min strels had another full house last evening to witnesv their performances.
