Buyers also appeared to be better provided with funds, and a slight im provement iu prices may be noted. The range yes terday was from 31 to 33c., buyers paying tax; Bay 31K@32c. for middlings, and 32@33c. for superior qualities. The receipts by wagons were pretty large for this season, still tar below those of fine October days la good cotton years. Augusta Murket. Acocsta, October 20—P. M. Cotton.—The market was dull to-day. Borne few sales were made at the following prices: Middling *4 Strict middling 86 Good middling : 96 Receipts to-day, 141 bales. Bales, 200 bales, as fol- ows:—80 at 36%c., 25 at 36c.. 9 at 33>Jc.. and 50 bales at 35c. Gold—Dull, brokers buying at 147 and selling at 150. Silver- Brokers buying at 138@140, and Belling at 142. _____ _____ Montgomery Cotton Murket. Montoomery, October 20. Cotton.—Tito market opened dull yesterday, not withstanding the fact that there was a large quantity offering.
