Section 3. Aud it is further ordained by the au
thority aforesaid. That the Committee on Street*
and Lanes, under the direction ulbrcsaid, are hereby

last and other material, to bu encloses and kept aa a
repository of proper material for making the repairs
and improvement* contemplated by this ordinance,
and to employ convict or other labor sufficient for
preparing and laying snrh material, under :he su
pervision of overseers pf such labor; and a prison,
van shall be lurnisbed for the purpose of conveying
prisoners subject to Bach duty to a nd from the place
where the work may be needed.
