Destructive Fire.—About 2 o’clock op
(Saturday uiorcing the mill of Mr. J Blair, on th
Canal, at the fjot of Bryan street, was, with its con
tents, totally destroyed by fire. The firemen turne
out promptly, but before their arrival the flamra had
gitned such headway that all their effort* to save the
bai'diug were uuavailing. A large quantity of val
ualile lunber was s tved. The fire is supposed to be
the work of an incendiary.
