“Give and it: thill be given unto you; good

- Friend, behold that fai thiol’SuBuJ
As h«j on iris !*ay;. j
Even now, perhaps, he’s going
For some dying soul to piey.
Faithful, ye*, we daily see him,
In the chnrch, or on the street;
orten with the poor and needy
Kneels he at the mercy seat.
Wind nor rain mast not deter him—
He mast see the halt and blind—
He most tell them of the SaTionr,
Of his lore to all mankind.
Coes he falter ? no; he daily
Serves ns with unwearied zeal.
And when tired, faint and weary,
He to lesna doth appeal.
While he labors thus to save us.
With a cheerful heirt and trqe;
Most we coldly'see and heu him— ;
Is there naught that we can do ?
Yea, dear friend; let .n_i remember
That he most be clothed and fed;
While to ns bis time is given.
Give, oh, give him daily bread.
‘ J .. - i. J
He has children—he is anxious
For the little ones so dear—
Give him of your gold and silver,
That he may not for them fear.
If you have no gold and sliver.
Yon have greenbacks adl the same;
Aid your Pastor—Bid the needy—
Aid the blind, the halt, the lame.
Oh, ye ladies, who have plenty.
Don’t forget your Paator's wife—
Send her lrom your woU-fllled pantry
Of the luxuries of life.
Share what God hath givea to you
With hia children. Sick and poor,
Hever fearing, never doubting
Bat that He wilf give you more.'
