A NEW MAT
OF THE
STATE OF GEORGIA.

1 PROPOSE to publish A NEW MAP OF THE
STATE, an soon as five hundred subscribers can
be obtained. Presuming that a '*-ap of tho State, re
presenting all the New Territory acquired by the diffe
rent Treaties with the Indians, would be very accepta
ble to the public. I have determined to embark in the
undertaking; and us soon as five hundred subscribers
are rec eived, the Original Map will be drafted, and pla
ced in tho hands of the Engraver. Copies will be deli
vered to subscribers at the expiration of one year from
t»'is date, if that patronage is afforded which is solicit
ed. It will require three months to prepare the Origi
nal for the Engraver, and about five months to engrave
it. Those to whom subscription papers are forwarded,
will please return them at the ond of three months.
Copies neatly varnished, coloured, and fixed on Rol
lers, will be delivered to subscribers at Six Dollars, and
to non-suMcribors at Eight Dollars. In this Map, tho
new counties, together with the several districts, new
county towns, public roads, and other remarkable ob
jects, will bo deliprated with inathcmaticalaccuracy.
Tho patronage of a liberal and enlightened public is
most respectfully solicited ; and thesuhscriber assures
those who may patronize the Work, that it will be ex
ecuted in the first style of elegance and taste, and that
it will be founded on tho most authentic documents in
the Surveyor Generates Office. The plan will be of the
same size as that published by my father, und will be
platted by a scale of eight miles to the inch.

Ostlers, in addition to which, the subscriber will bestow
his own personal unremitting attention, and his char
ges, at the same time will be moderate.
