O N reading and filing the petition of the Trustees
•f the University of Georgia, for the use of the
Central Bank of Georgia, it appears that Caleb Barton,
lieretnfme, to wit • On the Twenty-eighth day of May
Eighteen Hundred and sixteen, made, executed and
delivered to the petitioners, his entire Deed of Mort
gage, bearing date the day and year aforesaid, by
which mortgage a certain l.ot or percel of l.and, situ
ate, lying and being in the Five Thousand Aero Tract
of (.and in tliu county and State aforesaid, on the wa
ters of Slionl Creek, containing one Hundred Acres,
more or less, known and distinguished by a late re-sur
vey in the Five Thousand Acre Tract as aforesaid, by
No. 13, was conveyed to tho petitioners for the belter
securing the payment of a ceiiain Bond, made by the
■aid Caleb, v\ illiam Cawthon ond Adam Loony, hear
ing even date with said mortgage, and payable to your
petitioners, for the sum nf Eight Hundred and Forty
Dollars,conditioned for the payment of Four Hundred
and Twenty Dollars, in the manner following, to wit :
the sum of one Hundred and Five Dollars tnbepaidon
the twenty-fifth of Jleceniber, Eighteen Hundred and
seventeen; the further sum of money last aforesaid, on

teen Hundred and twenty-three. On motion of coun
cil for said petitioner, It is ordered by the Court, that
unless the ainountof the principal, interest and costs,
due on said Bond and mortgage be paid into the Clerk’s
office of this Court within twolve months, that the
equity of redemption in and to said mortgaged pre
mises,no thenceforth and forever barred and foreclosed.
And it is further ordered, that a Copy of this Rule
he published once a month for six months in some one
of thepiiblic Gazettes of this State, or be jiersonaHy
served nn the said Caleb Barton, three months before
the expiration of this Rule.

I T appearing to the Court that William Meriwether,
deceased, did in his life-time execute unto George
W. Meriwether a bond for titles to one-half of a certain
tract of land, situate, lying and being in the county of
Clark, formerly owned by Harmon Runnala, on the
road leading to Calham’s ferry, and which wi» pur
chased jointly by the said William Meriwether and
George VV. Meriwether, containing five hundred and
eighty-one acres, more or less, and tho titles of said
laid being in the said William Meriwether, and that the
•aid William Meriwether has departed this life without
making titles to said one-half of said tract of land
agreeable to said bond—And it further appearing to
the Court that James Meriwether is the administrator
„f .he ••id william Meriwether—It is on motion or
dered, that all persons having any valid objections to
said administrator executing titles to slid George IV.
Meriwether for one-half of said tract of land, be and
appear at the next Court of Ordinary for said county,
which shall set next after the publishing ot this rule,'
then and there to make them known, as in default
thereof this Court will then end there proceed to pass
a rule absolute, directing said administrator to execute
titles to said one-haifof said tract of land, agreeable
to the statute in such cases made and provided.
And it is further ordered, that this rule be published in
one of tho public Gazettes of thiMtsta once a month
for three months. A true extract from the minutes of

Map of tho state of G,orgia,the greater part compiled
front actual survey, with all the districts carefully laid
down and numbered, the whole completed with great
labor and exactness from the istest and most authentic
information, in a style not interior to any thing of the
kind yet presented to the public, with a table ofdistan-
ces from the scat of government lo every county lit*
or place of importance in the stale. The districts in
the aow purchase and lower counties are all numbered
in thn corners, so as to enable a person to ascertain
Ihe exact situation nf any lot of land, and will be pain-
ted and finished ofTin the neatest manner—a part of
them canvassed, varnished and placed on rollers, the
balance will be on thin paper nicely folded in morocco,
and will he for sale in Milledgevtlle bv the first of Oc
tober next. Those on rollers at Five Dollars, and the
pocket map ofthe same size at Four Dollars.
