O N motion of William Cowen, stating to the Court
that he holds a bond made by Robert Moon, late
of said county, deceased, for titles to a Tract of Land,
a copy of which bond is filed in the Clerk's Oflico of
this Court, and praying that this Court direct the Ex
editors of said Robert, to executo said titles to the
same. It is therefore ordered, that the Executors of
said Robert, do make said titles according to the tenor
and effect of said bond, to said William Cowen, unless
sufficient cause be shewn to the contrary within three
months, or at the next term of this Court after the ex
piration ofsaid three months. And it is further order
ed, that a copy of this rule be published in the Athenian
once a month for three months, and also a copy of the
same be posted up at two or more of tho public places

ADMINISTRATOR’S SALE.
A GREEABLY to an order of tho honorable the In
ferior Court of Oglethorpe county, when sitting
for ordinary purposes, will be sold, on the first Taesday
in March next, before the Court Houee door in the town
of Lexington, in said county, all the Negroes belonging
to the estate of Gen. Jno. Stewart, deceased, and that
part ofhis Real Estate lying in said roonty, to wit: the
plantation and adjoining lands on which the deceased
died, and the following Negroes: Lindsey, a valuable
carpenter; Jim, a smith; and lease, Jack, Stephen,
Washington, Nancy, Finch, Anna, Kills and George,
field and bouse hands. At the earns time and place
will be sold the residue of the Perishable Property net

Caution.
A LL persons are hereby cautioned against trading
for lot of land No. 157 in Ihe 4th district of Moo-
roe county, now in the occupancy of Mr. Anthony Gil
mer. The above tract of land, sold in 1826 by the
Sheriff of said county, and bought by the subscriber,
has since been re-sold, titles to which era alio vested in
Mr. William Redman of Butte county. It is understood
that Ihe land is offered for sale—whoever may become
the purchaser, will have to vindicate hie claim, at beet
